It’s often said that accessibility is solved at the design stage. In many organizations there is little to no communication between designers and testers, roles key to a successful implementation of accessibility. This lack of interactions is a missed opportunity for valuable collaboration that can ease struggles and help improve testing. This workshop focuses on introducing testers to accessibility and inclusive design to help facilitate communication with designers. Attendees will use hands-on activities to learn how to use design principles and methods when testing and how to identify common issues.
